HALSEY just announced a massive tour, taking their new album “The Great Impersonator” for a live spin. Dying their hair blue, kicking Joe Jonas off the guestlist, and scrapping a kid’s performance of “Hallelujah,” the singer’s funeral quickly turned into a surprising announcement of a live trek. Now, they’re all putting on a great show. With a hilarious teaser that revealed the big news, the “Badlands” queen is taking on the role of “The Great Impersonator” to the stage. An album written about the time she navigated authenticity and relationships after facing a dual diagnosis of lupus and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder back in 2022, it’s a deep dive into struggle, challenges, and living life once more.
Performing at Toyota Pavilion at Concord on Saturday, May 10th, she’s all set to reign the stage once again. Come on, she just cancelled a funeral, so better pop up at their grand celebration. Book your tickets now!
FOR MY LAST TRICK… it’s a poppin’ great tour! With a show scheduled at the Toyota Pavilion at Concord, get ready to witness a beautiful production as she performs right beneath the mountains, under a starry night. With a capacity of over 12,000 people, the air will fill with everyone’s voices, singing out loud to their infectious hits. An easy drive from the city, it’s the best place to catch Halsey’s stunning live shows. Parking? There’s tons of them. Food? There’s an ample amount of restos and stops nearby.
She’s hailed as one of Time’s most influential people in the world. Lives changed and hearts lifted, their relatable hits have stirred up every single emotion out on the surface. Their voice is the striking force behind some of the hardest-hitting bops out there — “Now or Never,” “New Americana,” “Graveyard,” “Lucky,” “Eastside” with Benny Blanco and Khalid, “Without Me,” and many more. On the dance floor or crying alone in one’s bedroom, these tracks have resonated with millions of souls. No wonder she’s received a ton of multi-platinum certifications. People can’t get enough of their “Badlands” reign, “Manic” memories, taking the mantra of “If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power,” to becoming “The Great Impersonator.” By heart, she’s Halsey.
In October 2024, the singer dropped her newest album “The Great Impersonator.” Written during a time in their life when she faced a dual diagnosis, Halsey took the time to reflect on authenticity and relationships. Feeling as though she was “impersonating” themselves, it’s an album full of heart. Thoughts of living life once more and feeling detached, it’s an album where their vulnerability shines through. These are real thoughts, real emotions, and real passion.
“Maybe I’ll hide again until a tour when the sun comes back. Maybe I won’t make a sound. Maybe I’ll sleep. Maybe I’ll choose different this time with my restart to zero, my bonus life I pulled from a box. And pull from a box with a needle every 3 weeks,” she wrote in a Tumblr post. “Maybe maybe maybe. Maybe I fixed everything so I could do this one thing again, without realizing that one thing was what needed fixing. I am tired and I forgot how to have fun.”
