Another set of rock icons coming to the concord pavilion in July, this time Illinois rock staples Chicago & REO Speedwagon team up for the first time ever, touching down at the Concord Pavilion on Thursday 31st July.
"It’s ironic that these two legendary bands, who both have roots in Illinois, were labelmates in the ’70s and experienced waves of immense success in the ’80s and ’90s, and have somehow continued to consistently make compelling music, both in-studio and on tour . . . have never before performed together!” enthused Chicago co-founder Robert Lamm.
This is a rare opportunity to see these two rock legends perform together live on stage, don't miss out. Tickets available now!
“With so many personal connections between various members of REO and Chicago, it is amazing that we have never actually toured together,” added REO Speedwagon frontman Kevin Cronin. “I love it that the Chicago guys feel the way we do about truly playing together when you tour together. Can you imagine the Chicago horn section on ‘Roll With the Changes’? That would blow my mind!
The tour will demonstrate both bands incredible hits, decade after decade each band produced unforgettable material, still being enjoyed by today's generation.
